Allow Full selection of surface edges in form tool
Form tool under the Utilites menu can convert B-spline ( surface edges) curves into retained curves on form object.
The problem is you cant go back after the conversion to select curves you are missing (after sweep select).
My suggestion is to improve sweep select to grab all the face surface edges in convert mode so that you can go back and make corrections if needed. Also the selected edges need to be their own data set with a visual
