The origin of Fusion 360. It was a plugin called "T-Splines for Rhino" (*).
Then Autodesk bought this firm (T-Splines (*)) and killed the plugin for Rhino, saying to all its users they should switch to Fusion 360.
Now, 6 years after Fusion 360 launching, it definitely cannot replace Rhinoceros (rhino3d.com), and Rhinoceros users cannot use T-Splines plugin (*) and there is no other alternative.
Fusion 360 is a inflated software with strong deficiencies at surface design, it try to replace a lot of existing software like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, etc - but it fails. It wants to do everything, but....
I made a suggestion for Fusion 360 Developers 5 years ago, that idea has received 213 votes, 35 comments and it is marked as "Future Consideration", my idea is a feature existing in Rhinoceros since 2011!
Please Autodesk: return the T-Splines plugin back for Rhino users, preferably free.
Please Fusion 360 Developers: turn Fusion 360 a good option for Rhino users.
(*) Old T-Splines site killed by Autodesk and saved by Web.Archive.org.
