additive manufacturing kerf setup

additive manufacturing kerf setup

Just wanted to see if you guys would be able to add a module for 3D printing. So in the metal industry in CNC programs there is a setup for a "kerf". The kerf accounts for the nozzle dia and cut width in order to offset the cut to get the proper inside and outside tolerances. I was hoping we could do that in 3 dimensions. I know it will be a lot more complicated but I don't see how to do it in the program yet unless I'm missing something. It would make the modeling process easier and getting parts to fit together easier without having to manually manipulate the model. maybe give a button to select surfaces you wish to add a kerf to then designate if its to be ID or OD. Have different nozzle sizes to specify to the program if its a .02 offset, .01, .03 and so on. If you have any questions or do not understand please let me know
