In addition to desiging products, I would like to be able to use Fusion 360 to design the packaging for those products. While similar in nature to sheet metal design, the fundamental requirements for package design are different. For example, there might be sub parts of the package to hold cords or instruction manuals that don't readily fit into normal 3D design.
Request: Create a tool that allows for the design of arbitrary areas. Allow for these areas to be created from a single sheet and bended into the right form. Provide for boolean combinations of shapes (the product being held, for example, needs to be part of the drawing but obviously doesn't contriubte to the final form except as a cutout of the box.
