First let me say, I love that you guys included this tool. I just wish it was on the default command bar rather than in a menu so I could have found it sooner!
Right now, the tool only aligns faces to faces or cylinders to cylinders. I would love for it to also have the following features such as
- Center between two faces - Basically you select two parallel faces on part 1 and two parallel faces on part 2 and part 1 centers on part 2 and all 4 faces are parallel
- Align with Offset - Right now I have to align the two faces then Move the part X distance.
- Fully Constrained alignment - Basically align it on three planes and the part automatically grounds or becomes a rigid group to the part it is referencing - right now I align the parts then select Ground, this adds TONS of thumbtacks to the history and makes it difficult to modify later on.
