Add keyboard shortcut for "Set Orbit Center"

It would be good to have a keyboard shortcut for "Set Orbit Center" (which "glues" the orbit center to the mouse pointer till placed) which can be assigned to 3D mouse custom keys or a programmable keyboards. 

I even tried to "abuse" the command search feature "s" by use of a rather elaborate macro like "s Set Orbit Center" but "Set Orbit Center" isn't even accessible via search. 

So having a dedicated shortcut and adding it to the searchable list would be best.

You probably know this already but you can set the orbit center by pressing Shift+MMB.

Yup, I do but placement of the center point isn't usually a first hit this way. I'd prefer if the center point stuck to my mouse pointer till I drop it where I want while panning or orbiting with the 3D Space Mouse.

Fair enough. I'm all for flexibility and customization, especially keyboard shortcuts, so +1.

Hi! I developed an extension which puts a bunch of existing commands in a menu so you can shortcut them. Per your request I added Set Orbit Center 🙂
