add fillet without trim in sketch

add fillet without trim in sketch

the fillet command trims the sketch - obviosuly - but there are situations where you want to maintain having the raw original drawing and slide a fillet inside. specifically because fusion solid tools can select surface ares in sketches fully trimming the sketch might not always be needed.

Looking of how to do this myself. very frustrating as i've built a sketch and then adding fillets before revolving trims half the sketch away that i want to revolve! How long before this is avaialble?

Quite frustitrating having come from IDeas where this was standard!

@changedsoul Just realized that it can be done via an arc and make the ends tangent and then dimension the arc.

Yeah I know there is a work around, and this may be why its never been an option right on the fillet command. But two clicks "done" is better than 5 clicks. Maybe even more if the fillet breaks other constraints you had set on other gemetry that got removed.

@changedsoul I think this rather because engineers are being taught a specific way how to do things and the industry sometimes does simply not evolve or adapt to better ways.

look at the difference between designer cad and engineer cad - never ending of face palms for me.
