It would be great if the Data Panel showed the file size in addition to the other information displayed. This is especially helpful when bringing in a component that someone else created (perhaps with another CAD system), as it would help one make informed decisions regarding whether the component would significantly impact the performance of the current design.
There are times when some clean-up could be done before the insert, but right now one has no way of knowing this other than digging through Fusion's locally-stored files (which may or may not include the file in question and is a pain) or inserting and seeing if it affects the performance.
