With all the great surface and sculpting capability in F360, the addition of these features will allow the creation of a datum point on those curves and and curved surfaces. These points are often used for measurement when no vertex, edge or face is available.
1) Create a Datum Point at the intersection of three surfaces. The intersecting surfaces could be a part surface, body surface, surface feature or datum plane.
2) Create a Datum Point on a curve a) at the intersection of a datum plane and a curve b) with a parameter value that references a length along the curve from a vertex or other datum point.
