Activate Component Improvement

Right click on a part and have an option to activate it in the pop up menu.

That is aleady possible, either in the browser, or in the veweport!

If you want to do this in the viewport then you need to change your selection filter to select components only.

Viewport?  Do you mean Palatte?  Becasue tat's where I'd like to be able to do it.  Excuse my inexperience but I've only been poking at 360 for a week or so. Smiley Happy

Well, in that case you should probebly not have posted this in the idea station but in the regular forum as a question 😉

No big deal though!

If you want to activate componets in teh Browser which I would hotly recommedn doing before adding "stuff" to a component you can rghtclick on the componet in the Browser and selece "Actiate" from teh menu.

To do this in the 3D Vewport you need to go to "Select->Selection Filter and remove all checkmarks and check only Components. That has some negative repecussoins for the workflow at this time so I would suggest you activate components through the browser.
