Ability to deselect a drill point

Ability to deselect a drill point

Here was my situation:

I created a tooling plate with an array of drilled holes for dowels and screws.  The tooling plate exceeded the travel of my mill so my plan was to slide the part.  Due to this, I needed to individually select holes for drilling that were within the envelope of the mill for that setup.

The problem became after selecting the 250th hole, I accidentally selected a point on the side of a hole.  There was no way to deselect that point, so I had to cancel all of the points and start over again.

If you hold the Ctrl key down and select the white point you can unselect it. Sorry you had to ask about this on a job with so meny holesSmiley Mad

Actually that does not work with Drill Points.  I even checked directly with Curtis Chan to confirm I wasn't doing something wrong.  Please vote!!

Hi.  I am on a mac and am using the command key.  I wonder if it could be a mac bug.

That function works fine when selecting faces with drill points at my end, just not points.

Here's a screencast of what I'm seeing, as long as I don't select Select Same Diameter I can select and unselect points or faces.

Weird still doesn't work here.  Thanks for the screen cast though!

Are there any mac users that are watching this thread that can give this a try?
