Others have asked for a dark UI option. That would be nice but better would be the ability to create our own skins much like some audio/video players now have. Of course not as flamboyant as we must not stray far from the intended UI to preserve accessibility. Some things that might be nice to customize besides the obvious (colors) would be buttons, stage, forms, and menus. If this seems like too lofty a goal perhaps some limited CSS skinning (appearance not behaviors) shouldn't be too difficult to implement.
