Ability to add Wires

Ability to add Wires

First, thank you to the Fusion 360 team.  This is an awesome product.  One feature that would help someone like myself would be the abilty to add and edit wires.  Being able to easily model and iterate on wire routing in a product design would be great. Specifically I'm thinking of being able to set a start and end point for the wire.  Then specify the length and diameter.  Fusion would then generate a body that could be dragged around and would flex or bend.  and optional parameter like minimum bend radius would be helpful.

This would be huge!  Other use cases:

* Flex connectors for displays.

* O-rings.

* Wire/cable linkages.

Please!

First off, I love Fusion 360 and thank you for giving us such an awesome product. Just some things that seem to have been forgotten that would make the robotics and small electronics folks insanely happy. This is a major one.

So this original thread is from 2015 and the Fusion Team responded that same year marking it "Future Consideration." Well it's the 2 years in the future and this is something I see a TON of forum posts asking non-stop of how to make wires in F360. Seems like something people are getting sick of answering over and over. Isn't it about time to give us this feature? Please? Pretty please with a massive cherry on top?!

Just a tool to give us move-able cylinders that we can snap their end points and are able to set the routing without having to spend what seems like endless hours adjusting splines. It would be a major plus if we could get materials like copper and aluminum cores with preset gauges and jacket types.

Thank you for your time.
