Hey All,
If you are among those who love helping people with Fusion 360, then you probably noticed that 95% of the times that person you are helping has few or many Warnings and Errors in their Timeline, especially if they are beginners!
As you also know, in most cases, Warnings happens because of a reference feature that has been deleted or changed drastically.
Solution:
There is a simple way to eliminate those warnings, help people avoid them and improve overall performance, and that is to add "Allow delete reference" checkbox under Preferences.
By default, this option should be Unchecked. this way when a person tries to delete a reference, they won't be able to do that. They will get a message asking them to Unlink the reference first.
For some reason, people don't read/understand/ or ignore the message when they delete a reference feature and I believe that the "Allow delete reference" checkbox, will help to solve this problem.
What do you think?
Cheers / Ben.
