2d Drawings views from Animation 'snapshots'/'keyframes'

2d Drawings views from Animation 'snapshots'/'keyframes'

Having created an Animation within a single storyboard it would be great to be able to set some 'snapshots' or 'keyframes' along the timeline that could transfer through to 2d drawing view states. Currently, it seems that only the 'home' view at the end of the timeline of a given storyboard transfers across.

This would mean that an animation could quickly be converted into a series of step-by-step 2d drawings useful for instruction manuals and patent drawings.

Completely agree, same here. I am in process of making and instructional video, and due to inability to publish callouts or annotations in video i trying to create a instructional drawings that would explain details in the video. It would be a great feature to have, to be able to select any frame in animation and create a a drawing from it.

I agree. 2d line drawing snapshots from animation would allow us to easily create step by step instructions for printed manuals and use the same source file for animations. It would make Fusion 360 a cheaper, viable alternative to technical illustration programs like Solidworks Composer, Creo Illustrate etc...
