It seems that the layer colors are reset each time Fusion is restarted. SCR commands setting colors have stopped working. As a result, our export scripts are not working correctly, and I have to manually correct the colors each time i open Fusion.
A command like below no longer works:
Set color_layer 101 27;
You need to start providing a stable version. Every new release breaks something in the program. The force update is a serious problem. My patience is running out.

I hope you are doing well!
The 'Set color_layer' issue has been reported to our develop team and I will keep you updated when we release the fix for it.
And the layer color will not reset when you restart Fusion 360. It should keep the change as you did before. I do some testing for this workflow and it works well for me. Would you mind having a try again? And if it can't work well for you, please let us know, thanks a lot!
So sorry for the inconvenience.

Panpan Fan
I tried restarting Fusion. The colors got reseet to white, see below:

Thanks for your feedback. And would you mind attaching the screenshot of the color panel to us?
So that I can check the reason for this issue. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your screenshot for color panel.
I guess you may still use the predefined decimal number to define the layer color.
From the May release, we use the hexadecimal number to control the layer color.
So would you mind changing the layer color by selecting in the color panel or by typing hexadecimal number?
Please have a try to see if it work well for you, thanks!

Panpan Fan
Using the HTML color works.
You have broken the backwards compatibility. Not cool.
Good to know it works!
We do the change for the new Display panel.
I agree that the backwards compatibility should not be broken.
I will send your comment to our develop team to see if we can do some improvement when fixing the Set color_layer command. I will keep you updated when I get more information.
Hope you have a good day!

Let me rephrase..
I understand that in order to take Fusion to new levels, some old features have to be left behind.
Th old color palette needed improvements.
The problem comes when you force update fusion with new features that breaks the old ones.
As a consequence, our process, scripts and schedule are broken at arbitrary times. This is not something we can accept. If we had the option to switch version at a specific time, then we could plan in maintenance of our scripts. The way Fusion is operating now is not fit for professional use.
The schematic layer colors are not persistent for me, when I restart Fusion. Same results if I change them using RGB or hex.
By the way, I find that #f1a340 for the symbols and #998ec3 for the wires and the default pin colors are easier on my eyes in dark mode than the default red for symbols. This came from playing around on the color brewer website. I liked it a lot, but then it resets every time fusion restarts.
I hope you are doing well!
It has same regression issue in the layer color change.
The develop team is working on it.
I will keep you updated when we release the fixing for this issue.

Panpan Fan
Hope all is well.
Good news that we have released Fusion version 2.0.17954 today with a fix about this layer color issue you reported to us.
Could you please upgrade to latest version and have a try? Hope it helps.
Thank you so much for your report and patient.
Best regards,
Helen
