Arc routing

How can I route these 4 wires nicely through the board as drawn? I've searched a great deal and tried a number of things but can't come up with a solution.

Ideally they would look nicer than below.

@fusion3608TH2K
I just tried this on some traces I had lying around 😉
It worked quite okay, when using any of the three "round" routing bend options.
But only as I had the nice orthogonal start/end points.
And, I guess you have already tried those options.

I thought it would a breeze, just using the push-and-shove routing help to align them.
But, of course not, this is yet another bug in Fusion.

The "Push Violators" doesn't work properly with round bends.
Most of the time, it blocks completely, other times, the tracks will overlap and you get DRC errors.
At no point is the other tracks being pushed.
Maybe in the July Release, 2035.

Hi @jesper8W75R ,

You are correct, the violators options don't work with curved routes. This is a current limitation and has been around since the first implementation of the violators modes in the routing engine of EAGLE. I'll put it in as a feature request.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Actually, there ARE something else you could put forward.
An option for completely stopping ALL routing support/guidance.
Even in "Ignore violators" mode, sometimes Fusion thinks it knows best and force the routing or length of a track.
This especially happen in tight places where I turn go into "Ignore" mode, because Fusion is totally confused and wrong about what can be routed or not.
Having an option to be 100% manual would be awesome.

Hi @jesper8W75R,

If you set it to Ignore, that's full manual. If you are seeing something different like you report I would love to catch that on video. If you don't want to see the live DRC reporting then that's different and you can disable that.

If you can get me an example I'll make sure it goes up the chain.

I managed to get somewhat of a reasonable solution by manually typing in values in arc mode. E.g.

arc '1mosi' ccw round .1524 (13.1 4) (-13.1 -4) (6.435 12.092)

@jorge_garcia

I've sent you a PM with a screencast link showing how Fusion messes with my manual routing.

You can disregard the screencast and problem.
I found out it's related to the way Fusion handles the Snap Length.
It doesn't only enforce that snap length when you come to the end of a route (which makes sense), but also when you START a route (which make no sense at all).
I changed Snap Length to 5 mil and it works better now.
20 mil is way too large on a tight design or with small components.
