Hello,
I'm trying to loft the surfaces on the pictures, but any time I try the loft function, it makes the tangent lines to spiral around the model. If you try to arrange them to be simetrical left and right and compile the object it throws an error that the lines are intersecting and no object is created. Can you please help me solve this problem
.
You will see little points where the profiles connect. You can drag those points on the profile to determine how the shapes loft together. If you can't find those points I'm talking about, post your file and I'll see if I can help you get the result that you want.
Thanks,
Kevin
I refined the model a little bit and tried arranging the point to be symmetrical. The curvature map now shows that
the sides are symmetrical.
But after I hit ok it throws an error that the curves are intersecting and after that when you open Feature editor for the loft, all the point are scrambled and only the two surfaces are visible.
The only way that it works for me is to highlight the "merge" option for Tangent Edges. That way it is close enough to work with the model, but still not as it should be.
