Why can't I fillet these 2 edges?

I am trying to fillet these 2 edges so that the cookie cutter has smooth edges but it's not allowing me to, even as low as 0.1mm or as larger as 1.5 mm.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

There is obviously some non-smooth geometry going on here. But without the file to examine, we can't tell what the problem is definitively.

Hi!

Are you able to view the file using this link? Sorry, I'm new to Fusion 360.

It's a pain for me to do so. It's much better if you File>Export your design to an f3d file on your computer, and then attach that file to a post here.

Okay...

#1. You drew way too many control points for the inner spline. Use as few as you can get away with, sometimes one for each change of direction will be enough, and then use their control handles to control the shape of the curve between each one.

#2. Then you Offset that spline to create the outer edge. That Offset geometry is, of course, whacked.

I was able to make a substantially similar inner spline with seven points only. Then Offset it 4.5mm. Then Extruded it, and was able to fillet it as desired, because the geometry is a lot smoother.

Look at the Curvature Comb Analysis for your edge and my edge. Yours is whacked out. Mine is reasonable. The Fillet algorithm looks at my curve and just follows it. It looks at your curve and says, "Oh heck no!"
