Using Thermal Conductivity lower than 0.01 W/mK?

In simulation, I need to set the thermal conductivity at 0.0056 W/mK but Fusion360 will not let me set it lower than 0.01  W/m K.  I am trying to run thermal studies on convection with gases like Xenon.

I searched previous topics and the workaround given (modifying the BasicStructuralUI.xml file) does not seem to work.

You also can not set it higher than 5000.

Any ideas on when this will be fixed?

Hi @amasters 

You are right, Fusion has some restrictions in that field.

Therefore, I have created a ticket for our development team, so developers will be working on improving the range of thermal conductivity in the materials database.

Thanks for responding and the news of a ticket for developers.  I had to run this simulation on other software because F360 would not.  NOT what I wanted to happen.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
