Title Block text margins

Hello

I'm making a drawing at school and wanted to use a custom title block, since the default one is too large and mostly irrelevant. I created a title block .DWG file in Qcad and imported it fine but I'm having trouble with one of the text fields.

The title block is attached as "Test Block.dwg" but it shows up wrongly in Fusion.

The text of "Our School Name" is flowed onto several lines instead of all being on one line. if I reduce the font size then it starts to move back onto one line which is strange. It seems like the margin is somewhere near the end of "Project Name" .. is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi titleblock,

I'm not familiar with QCad but when I open your dwg in AutoCAD I see this (consistent with what you see in Fusion):

I stretched the width of the text object so it's not wrapped and attached the dwg.  This one comes in with a single line of text.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Thanks for the response.

I see, it looks like QCad does not have a concept of text box size, perhaps it just assumes that the text limits is the size of the text. I will go back to Ribbonsoft and see if I can file a ticket with them for this.
