I was hoping that new sweep will let me do it 100% accurate, but I had to retrieve to loft... which works but will give some subtle offset.

I had also some troubles with the drawing there is no data on what surface radius is slot path developed from. I had to work it out from the developed drawing itself, which caries some inaccuracies (not all measurements are finite).

Below you will finde f3d file, without fillets, since on drawing there was no data for them (except for one which is confusing also).

The file is messy, but if you gonna get lost, I can make a clearer version, maybe a video if there's demand.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this. I am unfortunately laid up with flu so my brain cells aren't up to it yet. I will do so as soon as I can and see how I get on. Yes I too had many problems trying to draw it. And tried it on gibbscam but I don't have the wrapped geometry enabled in that so hit a wall.

You know what, I’m wrong, now that I think about it, but I will make new model later. Maybe tommorow.

Cheers once again. The most important part is the slot. There is a rigid vertical pin that remains on the centre line. Its 38mm diameter and must run the whole length of the slot. I think the outer parts are just for strength. They are probably cast in the original part.

thanks again

I have managed to install fusion on my laptop and yes you have created a perfect component

as per the sample we received. If you have any spare time I would love to see the stages you used to

create this component. I have used the playback feature on fusion to see some of the steps. As I am sure it would benefit myself and other users in the future. Many thanks to you and your colleague who provided assistance to you. Hopefully I can return the favor to other members of this forum as my knowledge increases.

Regards Eddy
