Sketch lines, points, circles in drawing mode

Is it any way to draw some simple line , point or circle in drawing mode.

I used to work in Solid Works and all sketch tools were available in drawing mode.

If your wanting to do this on Drawings then the answer is no, not yet.

Hi Marek,

As Phil said, this isn't yet available in drawings.  Can you provide some more information on what you'd like to add?  Is it standalone sketches (for whatever reason, circling something, putting a box around text, etc.) or do you want the geometry you create to be associated to the view (to do something that is not yet possible like draw in a bolt circle or centerline pattern) that you can dimension to?

Yes, as you have mentioned, just to quickly add some line or additional simple sketch which is not really associated with the view.

Hopefully it will be added in a future.

It is usefull to add e.g. "carrier circle" (steekcirkel in Dutch but I don't know in English) that holds other circles in a radial pattern (for example the bolt pattern a car wheel)

Are there any updates on when we could expect an "add point" feature to be added? I have a simple part like this but need to preform a 2 point inspection at least but i can't grab from the right side as there's no point available.  I have a slightly pointed surface on the left that I can grab from,  but without being able to add a point, I can't add a dimension for the overal length.

@Anonymous  You can do this by making a sketch in the model workspace and adding the points you need. In the 2d drawing make the sketch visible (make sure the sketch folder and the sketch have the light bulb on), and the points will be visible. If there's anything you don't want visible in the sketch, make toggle it to construction(model workspace).

That work around seems to have worked, thanks! Having the feature in the drawing space would still be nice, but I think I can make do with this until then.
