Rectangular pattern of removing

Hi! I'm just starting and I'm having a newbie question. I want to remove 4 rectangles from a big rectangular. In the picture below there is one rectangle removed and I want to remove 3 other rectangles automatically. You can think about it as places for wheels for a robot car in a chassis. I know that I can make a rectangular pattern of objects but I don't understand how to make a rectangular pattern of "absence of objects". Although this question may seem not important because one can easily do this manually, I'm going to do many other actions with the chassis and I want to make the chassis symmetric both along x and y axis (every 1/4 of the chassis are the same to each other), so the answer to my question will help me reduce the number of actions tremendously.

Never mind, I found out. I just need to select the removing of the object action from the timeline at the bottom

But still, the question about symmetry is open. I'm going to do this rectangular pattern a lot. Can I somehow make it automatic?

You could cut the big plate down to be one corner.

Finish all the operations, and then with 2 Mirror body commands at the end - will copy all the features in one go, twice.

Your sketch Origin needs to be centre of the finished plate to make this work easiest.

Or you need that socket, as an Extrude Cut Feature, to make a Rectangular Pattern of the Cut.

Might help....
