Misplaced components in Render

Why is this happening?

I already open the sub-assembly that are misplaced, correct that, saved, re-computed all, the same on full assembly. In In Design and Render work spaces the assembly is ok, but in the render image not.

There is another thread reporting similar issues:  bug-cloud-rendering-does-not-progress-joints-correctly.  One case is an anomaly, two cases is a pattern.  Can you share your design here?  I'd like to see if I can replicate some of the issues I've seen with the other design.  I may ask whether you can invite me to the project at some point, because we've found that the export/re-import does not show the issues you are seeing.

Hi Jeff, thank you.

The model is that used in "What's New in Fusion 360 Design & Generative - August 2019"  video (https://3d.si.edu/apollo11cmhatch).

Thanks, @msecco - maybe I am suffering from Saturday morning stupidity, but I cannot see how to download this model from that site.  Am I missing the obvious?

Hi, @jeff_strater

Roll down the page:

Thanks, @msecco - see, I knew it was right under my nose...  However, if I download that and upload it, those parts are already out of position:

So, now I'm curious about how you got those components into the correct position to begin with?

FWIW, I think these two issues are tied up together.  When we do a render, we essentially go through the same download/upload process, so if that is introducing bad component positions, that is probably responsible for the bad renderings you see.  We are actively investigating this issue.  Hopefully this data will help us track it down.

Also, would you be willing to share a link to your project for this design?  I just want to see if the version on A360 is OK, and to see whether I can download that and upload it, and see whether I get the same issues that I get when downloading it from the Smithsonian site.  Thanks

Hi @jeff_strater

I just open these subassembly with misplaced componentes (and "sub subassembly" if needed) and edit or remake the joints.

Thanks
