Is there any way I can animate my joints the way I like without using motion study ... I mean moving one joint then moving the other but without breaking the link between them?
because after experiencing the motion study it moves all joints togather as they were set to move
and in the animation environment the joints doesn't appear at all and I have to normally move every single piece ...

Hi @SaeedHamza
Thanks for posting! It looks like you would like to animate the motion of multiple joints simultaneously in Fusion 360.
Unfortunately, the Animation workspace does not currently recognize joint constraints and will require you to move every piece individually. The idea to allow the Animation workspace to register joint constraints and animate them has been presented HERE - I would recommend giving it a vote if you'd like to see this option included in the future of Fusion.
While the motion study will allow you to create a rendered animation (through the Render workspace), the joint motion is limited by the motion study definitions.
An option for you could be to create a motion link between your joints and then create a screencast of you dragging the joints to show the motion in a video. This will not give as clean a video as the Animation or rendered motion study options, but it may allow you to animate your model without using a motion study or manually moving every piece in the Animation workspace.
Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hi Paul, I am trying to create an assembly video in the Animation workspace but I can't figure out how to align the center point of one component (a shaft) with the center point of another component (a hole in a part). Is there not a "Point to Point" tool under the "Move" command? Similar to the one that's available in the Model workspace.
Thanks, Matt
