Impost IGS as Solid Model

I received an IGS file for a Pallet system but when I open it, Its just faces.  I can't modify the pallets.  Is there some way of converting it to a solid model or do I have to ask for a different file type?  Thanks for any help in advance.  Craig

It looks like there is some geometry that is not being read correctly in the IGES file. Could you share a copy of the file with us for further investigation?

It is possible that you could use the Patch command in the Patch environment to add the missing faces. Last, you could "stitch" all of the resulting surface bodies into a solid.  This would allow you to "repair" the model manually. However, there is some risk that the geometry will be different.

You may want to request some other file formats. Do you know what product is being used to create the IGES file?

Thanks,
