How to cut this part in half?

Hi, so I designed this geodesic sphere, but I need it in 2 separate halves. It consists of 20 hexagonal bodies and 12 pentagonal bodies. What is the best method of splitting the sphere into 2 domes?

Nope, they are Components containing a body. Manipulating components is vastly different to bodies in this case.

Had you constructed one component with 32 bodies in it,

it would then be Combine to one body, and Split body.

Might help....

I downloaded and opened your model and wondered why you are asking your question. As far as I can see, the geodesic sphere is already split in half. I think you need to clarify your question.

when I downloaded it, the last icon on the timeline was the Rigid group....

@davebYYPCU, That is the thing about giving access to the model via the users A360 data, they can update it, not tell anyone, and make everyone wonder what is going on. @Anonymous should police his own forum post.
