How do I delete certain objects in a file?

I downloaded this file for the hand skeleton - and am now trying to delete the bones within the yellow circle. Is there an easy way to do this? This is all from one massive 50mb file. Thanks!

Thanks for you post.

You can use Box selection for bodies which need to  delete which select multiple bodies in single shot for delete,

Otherwise you can select all these bodies from browser tree for delete.

The file I downloaded is one STL file. As soon as I highlight one object, it highlights the rest. Doesn't seem to let me highlight individual items.

Fusion 360 isn’t the right software to do that. You’ll be happier with Autodesk Meshmixer.
