Drawing views distorted because of dashed line scale

I have that problem that the dashed line scale is too big. It distorts the understandability of the drawing because the lines that should be dashed are wrongly continuous lines. How can I adjust the scale of the dashed line in Fusion 360?

Thank you for reporting this issue.  Currently we do not have a separate setting (similar to LTSCALE in AutoCAD) exposed in Fusion Drawings.  Can you let me know the specifics for the view containing these hidden hole that are appearing as solid (hole diameter/depth, ASME/ISO drawing, Inch/mm and View scale)?

This **** keeps troubleing me... So then:

Hole diameter 8 mm

Hole depth 24 mm

ISO drawing

mm

View scale 1:10

Hidden holes that are appearing as solid...

Hi jurpik,

Unfortunately we don't currently have a separate setting to adjust this.  At a 1:10 scale, that 24mm hidden line is only 2.4mm long in the sheet, and that is not long enough to show the gap in the hidden line.  Experimenting with this it looks like the gap appears at view scale 1:6.  Is there a reason the scale for this view is so small?  Can you use, say 1:5 instead (you may need to increase your sheet size to do this).  I will forward the request to the team (Better control over hidden lines), but for now the view scale is the only real workaround.

Is there any progression with this topic? I have similar situation, too. I know i can add detailed view, but there is so much detail on the drawing. Maybe better we control the hidden lines scale. Is there any solution?

Hello, it's been years and scaled drawings are still problematic.  There should be a setting to allow line types and hatches to scale with the drawing scale.  When drawing large objects that require scaled drawings, the default sizes are often not good.
