Combine isometric views and exploded views in one drawing

Hello all, 

I would like to insert an exploded view into a 'regular' drawing, but fail miserably to do so.

is there a more elegant way than making a second drawing with the exploded design, cut out the view i like, and photoshop it into the PDF file?

Attached is a engineers holiday greeting card which shows exactly what i want to achieve.

Hi!

No worries, you can easily do so.

1. In your model, go to the Animation workspace, create an exploded view and save the model.

2. In your drawing, create a new "Base View". In the popup, choose your animation view in the "Representation" drop down.
