Balloons and parts lists

Is there any way to manually number balloons? I see that I can create a custom part list. But I would like to identify the part visually on the drawing with a balloon. The automatic assignment of numbers doesn't allow me to present the information clearly.

Fusion 360 2D drawing environment currently does not offer this capability.  There maybe a third part add-in that may help.  Have your looked int the Fusion 360 App Store?

Hello @ronaldcs2007

I think the way to achieve your goal with current features is by adding a

  1. Partslist (it will add automatic balloons with automatically assigned part numbers)
  2. Then run the command called Renumber as shown in the following image
  3. Type the desired "Part Number" (numeric value only) in the edit box of the dialog and click on the balloon. It will change the part number in the balloon according to the input

In following image I changed the Part number from "1" to "3" manually after adding auto balloons

Also the number don't have to in sequence. Please check the part numbers I applied on the same assembly

Also, in case you don't want to have one or multiple balloons you can manually delete them. But please be mindful that, it won't remove it's entry from the Partslist.

I hope it was helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
