ANSI/ASME Standards

It has been a couple of years since I have spent any real time in Fusion.

I decided to take another look this year to see if it is ready for college level professional instruction.

Experimented a bit with trying to find a way to set line weights to ANSI/ASME standards and could not find a way.

So, I thought, maybe they only appear on the print.  (Edit: I did find that the line weights look aesthetically pleasing in pdf file.)

Where is the print button?

This is getting embarrassing that I have to ask....

... so help me out here, where is the print button to print out a 2D drawing?

While I am on the topic of 2D drawings, how do I control the centermarks for aesthetically pleasing look?

I remember reading in a post that PDF was used to save having to write a print dialog\interface. I'm not sure the Fusion team realized how important drawing are, I remember someone asking why do you need drawings can't you get it manufactured from the 3d model, when I read that I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry.

Thanks for the post @TheCADWhisperer -

Line weight control and direct print aren't available yet but they will be coming up. Currently we Fusion does require the PDF output as an intermediary step to printing.

Center marks are still in their first release - we will be adding functionality around them soon, were there particular changes you'd like to see?

Thanks much,

Scott

Given that Autodesk has 30 years in the business - I have confidence that eventually you will figure it out.
