Turning inner profile, toolpath misses convex radius?

G'day All.

I've got a simple internal profiling job to do on the lathe at work. I've not had a problem doing similar jobs to this one before, but for some reason I can't get it to follow the internal contour? See the attached picture, the toolpath takes a direct line across the convex radius, turning it into a straight angle. Its an internal profile for a turbo turbine wheel, so it really needs to have the radius. I've tried different tolerances, cutter compensation methods, tool tip radii, confining the toolpath to only this radius, but nothing seems to help?

Any advice, oh wise internets?

It's hard to see from this screenshot but it almost looks like a retract that goes through.

Can you zoom in a little and upload that screenshot?

PS. The model would be better but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be happy sharing that. 😉

@Anonymous do you have spun profile turned on in the setup?  If not give it a try. It does not look like it should be required for this part but it seems to help in some cases.This may be similar to the issue posted by another user. I have also reported a similar issue twice where the arc cam out a line, but have also had straight lines post out as a large sweeping arc.

G'day @Laurens-3DTechDraw. No problems sharing the model, its a personal project I'm working on for my own car, so nothing commercially sensitive :-). We use FeatureCam at work for these sorts of projects, but I have been experimenting with Fusion360 for my personal stuff, as I find it easier and faster to use most of the time. If it would help out with the turning CAM development in any way, let me know where to share it :-).

@Anonymous glad it got you going.  I think it is a bug, but no real confirmation from support/development makes is tough to know.
