Tool edit

I duplicate the tool, or copy (what is difference?)
If I switch (in editing the geometry) from Inch to mm, I can not save the changes/new tool. Save button becomes Gray Inactive?
What I am doing wrong.

Hi @veso58S5W,

Thanks for raising your query onto Autodesk forum.

After changing the unit from Inch to mm are you also making any changes to dimensions of the tool/cutter profile? Can you supply an image showing the mentioned behavior so that we can help you in this.

Thanks and Regards,

Without changing anything, just clicking unit button (what is in Inch in this case) Save button becomes inactive.

I'm not seeing this.

Can you post a video of the whole process, so that we can see what you're seeing?

Thanks,

  Jeff

No mater what i do, change geometry or just change dimensions, happen same thing - Can't save the changes.
Grid changes from Inch to mm, and you can do any geometry changes, but CAN'T save anymore

Thank you for the video. This has helped clarify that this is happening when you edit a holder.

We've created ticket CAM-13557 to track this.
