Problem with TRIM command
Hello,
As you can see in the attachments, when I use trim while zooming it cuts at the same time the extend line (and it is not taking in consideration the other lines that are intersecting the trimed lin), when I use it without zoming it gives me the wanted result.

With or without zoom, as you are saying, should not affect how trim behaves.
It's hard to see what you are trying to illustrated in the images.

You should select your cutting edges so that you get the desired result.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

With regards to trimming while zoomed in, it will take the closest line associated and trim to it when zoomed in and you do not select any lines as boundaries. It is not a problem with the command, it is how it works when you do not select trim lines. If the line is not in the view it will not consider it a trim line.

HI
when you are using "global (all)" trim instant of "Select objects ",
both cutting edge must be in the view , other wise it will cut from nearest intersection up to end point.
lets say like this, during trim you have to see both intersection lines.

I always thought of trim as a two step process. You first select the trimmers (a.k.a. cutters) hit ENter and then select the "trimees" (lines to be trimmed). I didn't realize you could do a select all after trim and then just click trimees. Cool!

It's the default option. 20 years ago you had to read the help, today (since 2006?) you can read it
in the commandline/dynprompt as default method and [SHIFT] toggle to EXTEND during the trim
session (or to trim, during the extend session).
