Need help with insertion points
Currently working on a job where the GC requires us to ID the insertion poinit. Never done this before and am having a difficult time finding any information about it online. The insertion point is the center of the square gray column in the screenshot. I attached a few screenshots to better explain what i mean. Can someone please walk me through doing this (maybe directions with screenshots so i can find the commands)? I'm using AutoCAD 2019. Thank you!

Maybe you can use the _DIMORDINATE that gives a X or a Y from the 0,0 point.
Maybe, if your object is a block, you can use the _FIELD command on an object and obtain its X or/and Y of its insertion point from the object category....
I must say that I don't know exactly what you want... but it is surely possible ![]()
