How can I move dimension lines?

I need to make the dimensions vertically (like the red arrow shows it) and whenever I select the "aligned" dimension it does the same thing like the linear one (green arrow).

Hi,

You need then to set the UCS to the plane you want to have the dimension drawn on (take care that dynamic UCS is not active) ... then create the dimension.

use dimedit. Oblicue  and make it aligns to the vertical line.

"ON" does not help, it needs to be defined to the plane you want to have the dimension on...
