Attempting to delete one of the annotation scales for text and the drawing locks up. Happens in all drawings. This is happening in Civil 3D 2017 on one computer, works on other computers in the company using 2017. I can edit annotation scales in Civil 3D 2018. I'm guessing this is an AutoCAD issue and not Civil 3D, just guessing.

If it works on all other 2017's in 2017 but not in C3D 2017 on your PC, how is it a problem with all 2017s? I'm curious about your conclusions.
Is C3D fully patched and updates? Did you check in the C3D forums to see if this is a known problem in he 2017 version of that variant?

It was not a Civil 3D or version issue, although the solution can be in the Civil 3D Form at https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/stuck-in-annotative-text-edit/m-p/3121366#M157728
Basically the problem is "...window for editing annotative text is off the screen and stuck out there. To solve this press Alt + space bar at the same time and then press "M". Now just use the arrow keys to move the window on screen to where you can now edit the text..."
Yes I have the latest updates applied. Attempted to communicate that in the original post.
