I posted a week or so ago about issues with 3D elements in our drawings (here https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/flattening-help-full-ac2014/m-p/9064692#M995545).
I have painstakingly spent today taking apart blocks, recreating etc etc to 00 on Full ACAD 2014 as Flatten was working to a limited capability. However, I am still having issues.
Do I recall correctly?
I have a memory of an issue like this some years back, but I traced over/redrew and had something set that would NOT allow any of my lines to jump (snap) to any other Z value than 0,0 when drawing over.
I want to do this again, re-setup all drawings and blocks by using this setting to be secure in my redrafting of the various drawings. I ideally need something that works on both Full ACAD 2014 and LT 2015
Many thanks indeed.

For full AutoCAD, it might be time yo started over in the LISP forum if the AutoCAD reality of inserting a problem file into a fully functional and fully equipped template file then saveas is not a fix.
Looks like you are trying to fix a decade or more of sloppy drafting in an office you just joined: it might be simpler (if an option) to just implement new content and procedures to new files/projects and let those old files wallow in their mess forever.
And lets not forget the most important fix: TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING for the staff that picked up and still do those old bad habits.
Good luck.

Thanks again PD.
I've always used LT, there is quite a range of various ACAD's here.
I'm only here for a short while. At least I now have managed to convince of a redraw, just was hoping I could make it very quick and reliable.
We also get manufacturing drawings from others and they often mix SketchUp and Rhino (plus others) models that have/are causing issues.
Fun, fun, fun....
