QUICKCALC error message

QuickCalc not working on neither ACAD 2018 or 2019. I receive the error message "CVUNIT failed to convert units." I tried all, Volume, Length, Areas.... same thing, it wont convert anything. I read it may have something to with the file acad.und but I have that file on both versions. This happened after I cleaned some old hatches from the SUPPORT ( .PAT files)

any ideas?

I have no problem with this command with AutoCAD 2019.

I don't think the removing PAT files causes it.

Will a restart solve the problem?

Otherwise try to reinstall.

restart will not fix the error. I try not to reinstall, time consuming. I thought someone might know a quick fix.

thanks.

Hi,

Yes reinstall can be time consuming. Instead try resetting the AutoCAD to default. Here is how you can do that: click here

Good info.

Would that affect my Workspace settings? I wouldnt want to lose my ribbons.

Thank you

it worked great.

I was afraid I would lose my settings and I did a backup first but it proved to be unnecessary as the reset tool will prompt you to save the settings in a .zip file on your PC! very intelligent!

Thanks for the hint!
