Hesitation when editing Mtext and text

Lately I have a lot of Hesitation when I edit Mtext and text, the Mtext editor take a long time to pop up as well as does editing regular text. Does anyone have this same issue? It started all of a sudden, there have been no changes prompting this. I am running version 2019 straight autocad.

All of a sudden means something did indeed change, or you just need to shut down and restart you PC. Find out.

And... if added up together, about how many TTF and SHX fonts does AutoCAD has access to on your PC?

I have tried all the above as well as dxf out and in and even made sure Autocad is current with updates. I have two new LG monitors, next I will uninstall the software and see if that was the culprit. Thank you for the quick response.

I would suggest to reset setting to default instead uninstalling and reinstalling the AutoCAD, which would be time consuming. Just in case your not familiar in reset the settings to default, here is how you can do that : click here

Thank you for the helpful suggestions. I have solved the issue, apparently the new LG monitor software installed to allow on screen control was the problem. Lg is trying to resolve the issue on there end at this time. Once again thank for helping.
