Paper space Protrait as default for new layouts
I am building a new .dwt template for making cross sections in AutoCAD, the first step was creating a dwg that is saved with a layout border in model space with some block attributes in model space and a ANSI D 22.00 x 34.00 layout in Paper Space set to portrait with a viewport.
The second step is were I think the problem resides is my dwt template, I have two layout pages setup to ANSI D 22.00 x 34.00 Portrait, I should only need one, but I did this to try to understand what is wrong with my template. When I run my routine to import the cross sections (the page number will be as needed for each job), the first two are perfect but all of the additional layouts created are in the correct paper sized ANSI D but the layout goes back to Landscape, I need them to be Portrait. I have been through every setting I can find but I can't figure this one out. Is there somewhere to save this dwt so it always creates new layouts as portraits, I have all the other paper size and plot settings working correctly, but if I have to flip sometimes hundreds of pages to portrait, it will be a time suck and lame. Lol.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Jeff

Hello @Anonymous,
Welcome back, thanks for posting.
Go to the Layout tab (right-click) select "Page Set up Manager..." create a name for the Page Setup.
Then make sure to select "Modify.." under setting make sure you selected the proper paper orientation Portrait.
