Hey,
Just wondering is anyone else having problems being able to add Layout Tabs from one drawing to another through the Design Centre. That's how I have always copied across Layouts but, it doesn't work in 2020. Even after re-install.
TIA!

Oh Thank you. I had previously looked for the update. But I was all up to date. I will give the Update a shot and advise if that helps.
Thank you!

I tested for you with 2020.0 (but with Block-Bugfix): Not Problems with Layout import.
Tested: Contextmenu -> Add Layout and Drag&Drop to the target drawing-editor window.

VERNUM Productversion Q.48.0.0

Try it again with brand new files and Layouts, save both files in dwg2018 Format.
Still a problem? If not, it seams there is a problem with 2020 and your usual source file.
(If you like, share the file and we all together search for the problem).
Try a quick solution: Open the file by RECOVER, -PURGE REG, Purge all, saveas dwg2018. Try it again.

Sorry but just tried with different drawings, and I am still unable to copy Layouts from drawing to drawing through the Design Centre.
I tried right click, Add Layout, In the Command Bar it says it's added. But it's not.
I tried to drag into the drawing, but an Error message Occurs saying I need to Recover the drawing.
Are others able to use the Design Centre to copy Layouts from drawing to drawing (using ACad2020.1)?
Cheers

Sure it works for others too.
In your answer i can not read that you follows my hints, so i will try it again with one more detail:
1. Close Acad
2. Start Acad in safemode and a fresh profile
[Win]+[R] Open: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2020\acad.exe" /product ACAD /safemode /p "TESTP1"
3. Test it
if still a problem: >"Try it again with brand new files and Layouts, save both files in dwg2018 Format."
Command: NEW
Right of the [OPEN] Button, open the menu and choose 'Without template - imperial'
SAVEAS the file in dwg2018 Format.
Delete Layout2, SAVEAS with a new name,
try it again, import Layout2 from the first new file..

Hi, I am facing the same issue with the latest update, that layout cannot be imported from Ad-Centre even though the command bar mentioned it has been done.
Try everything mentioned, but still not workable.
Any idea how to solve this?
Thank you!

No definitely wasn't limited to one file.
Will test again in 2021.
I think a Software update fixed this issue. But if I have the same issue again I will repost, Thanks!
