Drawing files inserted from tool palette
From Release 2019 and Previous I have had tool palettes with blocks and several drawing files that would allow me to insert everything associated with the drawing on the tool palette into a new drawing. The blocks from the palette insert into a drawing file ok, but now in release 2020 the drawing files on the tool palette no longer work. Any suggestions for a fix?

Hi,

Can you please describe more detailed what "no longer work" means?
- Do you have the palette already imported (or did you migrate settings)?
- Do you see the blocks in the palette?
- When you drag&drop them into a new dwg-file, what (exactly) happens?

In previous release I could place a drawing file on tool palette and drag and drop into new dwg file. I exported the tool palettes from 2019 and imported into 2020. I did not migrate any settings for 2019 to 2020. The image of the drawing on the tool palette looks ok but when I try to drag and drop the dwg file from the palette the command line just shows Command: waiting for a new command to be entered. I have tried to copy the drawing file and paste onto the palette again but still with the same results.

Hi,

Can you please do the same again (inserting from the tool palette), then press <F2> to see the long version of the command-line and create a screenshot from that window?
I guess we can see here some messages.

Are the drawing containing the block still at the same location where it was earlier?
You could also create the tool palette newly from Design Center. Press Ctrl+2 which would open up the Design Center and then navigate to the drawing containing the blocks (make sure the drawing contains all the blocks). Right click on the drawing and then select create tool palette.
