ANNOTATIVE TEXT

Hi,

I have made an annotative text, and every time I click on it, it shows the annotative sizes in the background.  It gets busy when there are a lot of text and when I move the text, all the letters pop up and hard to see where to place the text.

Is there a way I hide the shadows of the text, so when I click on the annotative text, the shadows don't appear? I have attached a picture.

Hello @Anonymous,

Its seems you need to remove the preview of other annotation scales that are displayed when you select an annotative object. This behavior is controlled by the AutoCAD variable SELECTIONANNODISPLAY.

To turn off the preview

  1. On the AutoCAD command line, enter selectionannodisplay
  2. When prompted to enter a new value, enter 0

To re-enable the preview, set the value of the variable to 1.
