Text Window- Pops Up When Any Drawing is Opened then Disappears

Can you toggle this off? Maybe through the startup routine?...

This is the same window that appears after pressing F2. However, it pops up with EVERY drawing open.

Just started happening within the past 2 weeks and I haven't changed a thing. Thanks!

You have an add-on or 3rd party startup doing that: what was added 2-weeks ago? Nothing is not correct since that's not a common issue for most users.

Dig and find out.

I run Carlson in AutoCAD map 3d. I don't recall changing a thing. Where can I see if something has changed/edit what HAS changed? Thanks!

Start AutoCAD/MAP without the Carlson add-on: does it still do that?

I'm not sure how to start it up without Carlson.

I just reset my program to default settings but the AutoCAD Text Window still pops up then disappears with every opened drawing. It doesn't hang around, but it definitely slows the process down.

I still don't know how to open Map3D without Carlson. Any suggestions?

Carlson has a method to open plain AutoCAD. Click on your Settings Pulldown Menu > Create AutoCAD Icon. This will create a new icon on your desktop that will open AutoCAD without any of the Carlson menus loaded.Screenshot 9-10-2020 - 002.png
