Are there any tools or utilities that can help you write keynotes in the plan view for the paper space view? This may sound odd. But I thought I would ask. Thank You

Hello @asherjoh,
If you have access to AutoCAD Toolsets, you can use the AutoCAD Architecture Keynoting Tools.
Otherwise there are no Keynote tools for standard/vanilla AutoCAD, it would be a manual process.

Take a look at the Keynotes tool included in DotSoft's ToolPac, a massive collection of productivity tools for all AutoCAD flavors. It lets you quickly add notes as inserts, mtext or leaders and generate a note table.

My inquiry is to avoid having to collect the info, from the model space, then having to switch to the layout tab. Back and forth. Yes, I use mtext. I was wondering if there was a tool that simplifies this. Mechanical engineers use a lot of keynotes and notes by symbol. I would think they would be using a tool that makes a short cut in this process. Thank You.

You said you have ac arch. Then you have the tool already. See Natasha's link. The keynotes come with tons of standard notes and you can add your own.
