xref and binding
Good morning,
I am using AutoCAD 2019 and am working on a project where I have used some xrefs. I want to make these xrefs part of the current project file and not have the xrefs in my current project reference another file. I have went through the troubleshooting and searched the forums for help but am unable to come up with a solution. When I open the xref palette, I can right-click on the xref files, but I do not have a "bind" option in the drop-down menu. My xref files a .png, .jpeg, and a .dwg file as well. I also tried the AUDIT command and am not able to find a solution. Thank you for any help.

You cannot bind an image file. refer to this : Binding Image files to a DWG in Autocad
Regarding the dwg mentioned, make sure to open the xref file and follow the above method in those files too, if you have any xref images in there.

Hi,

If the reason is that you have difficulties to send the data to someone else you might take a look to _ETRANSMIT (>>>details<<<).
This creates a ZIP file with all the referenced data, and ready to send this to some one else.
