Thanks a lot. My initial thought/hope was, that when I move or create a new block anywhere in the drawing, I would be able to get the position of that block in an extract, I can then use in Excel or Access.

But I might be overthinking this. Perhaps I can just name the workstations(blocks) according to their position in the drawing and kill 2 birds with one stone. After all we dont move the workstations around very often.
